The 22nd Annual International Conference on Digital Government Research (DGO2021) on “Digital Innovations for Public Values: Inclusive Collaboration and Community”

The Digital Government Society (DGS) announces that the dg.o 2021 will be hosted by the Digital Governance and Analytics Lab, the School of Public Administration, the Center for Public Affairs Research, and the College of Public Affairs and Community Service at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Omaha, Nebraska in the United States of America. Specifically, the conference aims to advance both research and practice of public value creation via digital innovations by leveraging collaboration and community-oriented solutions in an inclusive manner.

From Colonization to Reconciliation: Increasing the Collaborative Capacity of Public Servants

Using findings from a health care collaboration between First Nations, federal and provincial governments in Alberta with 25 mid-to senior‐level leaders, this participatory action research highlights the importance of member capacity to strong collaboration as Canada embarks on the journey from colonization to reconciliation.

Management of Local Open Government Action Plans: Tools for Co-creation, Monitoring and Evaluation

This publication reviews some conceptual, theoretical and practical notions that form the foundations and standards of open government policies, plans, programs and projects. The co-creation of local open government action plans has a special emphasis on the development of strategies to guarantee the effective participation and involvement of actors in sub-national territories.

Building a New Future: Transformative Recovery with Equality and Sustainability

This document, presented by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) to its member States at its thirty-eighth session, argues that Latin America and the Caribbean is in a position to move towards a “big push for sustainability” through a combination of economic, industrial, social and environmental policies capable of driving a recovery with equality and sustainability and relaunching development in the region.
