The Asia-Pacific Sustainable Development Journal is published twice a year by the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific. It aims to stimulate debate and enrich research in the formulation of policy in the Asia-Pacific region towards the fulfillment of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The international webinar on “Good and Best Practices on Inter-Local Cooperation: An International Perspective” invited speakers from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia and the Philippines to share experiences on inter-local cooperation.

KIPA received an award from the prime minister for the ‘merit in the regulatory reform’ at the Government Complex-Seoul. KIPA was recognized for enhancing the quality standard of governmental regulations of Korea through professional and rapid analysis, review and consultations on the regulation impacts.

Since 2018, the journal has been published twice a year as an e-publication, available on internet free-of-charge. This issue covers sustainability of public policy, public administration’s regulations and e-government development.

The award was created in recognition of Mzia Mikeladze’s contributions to the discipline, professionalism, and organisation of NISPAcee. The Mzia Mikeladze PhD Thesis Award 2020 will be presented at the 29th NISPAcee Annual Conference in Ljubljana, Slovenia in May 2021.
