Capacity Development
UNPAN provides access to the knowledge and information produced by the regional task forces of schools of public administration within the framework of the Global Initiative on Governance for the SDGs. The Initiative is aimed at equipping public servants with the capacities to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The Curriculum on Governance for Implementing the SDGs aims to mobilize and equip public servants with the capacities needed to implement the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs.
The United Nations Public Service Forum is a unique capacity development global event on public governance that provides a platform to explore, discuss and learn about: (i) emerging challenges, issues and trends in public governance; (ii) innovative practices to address these challenges; and (iii) capacity development strategies, approaches and tools in support of sustainable development.
UNPAN provides a series of training toolkits and on-line training courses aimed at strengthening the capacities of public servants.
UNPAN provides a gateway to development cooperation projects implemented by UNPAN Members.
