World Public Sector Report 2021 Now Available

Five years after the start of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, governance issues remain at the forefront. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted even more the importance of national institutions for the achievement of the SDGs. The World Public Sector Report 2021 focuses on three dimensions of institutional change at the national level. First, it documents changes in institutional arrangements for SDG implementation since 2015. Second, it assesses the development, performance, strengths and weaknesses of follow-up and review systems for the SDGs.

COVID-19: Public Administration Review of ASPA publishes open access virtual issue on public emergency management

In light of COVID-19, Public Administration Review - the scientific journal published on behalf of UNPAN Member American Society for Public Administration - has created an open access virtual issue on emergency management. The articles included in the issue discuss the logistical and theoretical aspects of navigating public emergencies. Topics include natural disaster management, collaboration across jurisdictions, policy implementation, and public finance crises.

The overall objective of the consultancy is to draft and complete the “Five-Year Evaluation of the United Nations Project Office on Governance”.

Expected duration

The consultant will work for 30 days within five months from 1 March - 9 July 2021

The fee will be commensurate with experience using the UN standard human resource guidelines for consultants.
