This compendium, prepared by the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), aims to capture emerging trends in digital responses of UN Member States against the COVID-19 pandemic, and provide a preliminary analysis of their main features.

The statutory meetings, which are regularly held in the spring in Brussels, combined with a world-class event on public governance bringing together leading thinkers and partners in the field to delve into latest developments in public governance.

This webinar was the first step toward the establishment of a smart city cooperation platform among China, Japan, and Korea. Regional partnerships promoted knowledge exchange and joint strategies on smart city development in the lead up to the upcoming smart city forum for a broader community of cities and other stakeholders across CJK.

This Capacity Development Webinar on strengthening the role of public institutions in achieving poverty eradication and sustainable development aims to explore country experiences in achieving poverty reduction and eradication through strengthened public institutions, identify lessons learned and successful outcomes, and share recommendations on the way forward.
