These objectives are aligned with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development OECD's commitment to promoting policies that will improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world.

The Davos Agenda, organized by the World Economic Forum, (WEForum) is a pioneering mobilization of global leaders to shape the principles, policies and partnerships needed in this challenging new context. It is essential for leaders from all walks of life to work together virtually for a more inclusive, cohesive and sustainable future as soon as possible in 2021.

Hosted by the Government of Kenya with the support of the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), the World Bank, and the Open Data for Development Network, IODC 2020 is committed to creating an inclusive, innovative, and empowering event and will strive for the greatest possible level of gender balance, regional diversity, and inclusion of all voices, to bring the global open data community together in order to learn, share, plan and collaborate on the future of open data and data for development.

Bringing together more than 300 high-level local government officials, smart city experts, and citizen representatives from around the world, the EXCOM program will also feature diverse discussion forums and matchmaking meetings and showcase Moscow’s smart city facilities and rich cultural heritage.

ICEGOV 2021 marks the 14th edition of the International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance. Jointly organised by the University of the Aegean, the Harokopio University of Athens and the United Nations University (UNU-EGOV), the conference will promote the interaction of people from all over the world and different sectors, such as academia, government, industry, and international organisations.

2021 Leaders Summit - Open Government Partnership (OGP)

The 2021 OGP Global Summit will mark OGP’s 10th anniversary and will galvanize the open government community with fresh energy, political commitment, evidence, and support to build a stronger global movement for open government and democracy. OGP Global Summit themes will be aligned with the current Co-Chair Priorities: anti-corruption, digital innovation and governance, and public participation and civic space. 

The World Summit on the Information Society Forum 2021 represents the world's largest annual gathering of the ‘ICT for development’ community. The WSIS Forum, co-organized by ITU, UNESCO, UNDP and UNCTAD, in close collaboration with all WSIS Action Line Facilitators/Co-Facilitators, has proven to be an efficient mechanism for coordination of multi- stakeholder implementation activities, information exchange, creation of knowledge, sharing of best practices and continues to provide assistance in developing multi-stakeholder and public/private partnerships to advance development goals. This Forum will provide structured opportunities to network, learn and participate in multi-stakeholder discussions and consultations on WSIS implementation. The Agenda and Programme of the Forum will be built on the basis of the submissions received during the Open Consultation Process.

The session will highlight a state of informed preparedness that provides us with the opportunity to anticipate change, correct the course of action if necessary, and become more knowledgeable on the different possibilities that the future of cities offers. It also illuminates the ways that policy, strategies and actions can promote desirable futures.

In the summit, the G20’s top health and health financing experts urged G20 government Leaders, Health and Finance Ministers to significantly boost investment in the health of their citizens in order to promote sustainable economic development and inclusive growth.

The 2018 Global Forum on Development took stock of the progress to date, and debate how policies can keep the promise of unleashing the power of women and youth as critical agents of change. During the Forum, high-level representatives from governments, businesses, foundations and international organisations, met and shared ideas on concrete ways to achieve greater prosperity for all.
