Snapshot of Capacity Development Activities 2022

UN DESA’s Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) provides capacity development support and policy advice to countries upon their request to strengthen governments’ capacities to translate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and other internationally agreed goals into institutional arrangements, strategies, and programs for effective service delivery and participatory, accountable, and inclusive decision-making processes. It does so through several modalities. It oversees the development of strategy guidance notes, undertakes peer-to-peer learning workshops, training of trainers, direct advisory support, and the development and implementation of capacity development projects.

Journal of European Public Policy

The Journal of European Public Policy (JEPP) has established itself as one of the flagship journals in the study of public policy, European politics and the EU and aims to provide a comprehensive and definitive source of analytical, theoretical and methodological articles in these fields. Focusing on the dynamics of public policy in Europe, the journal encourages a wide range of social science approaches, both qualitative and quantitative.

KIPA Public Policy Review

The Public Policy Review is a policy-oriented journal that aims to link research and policy in the field of public administration and governance. It further seeks to make contributions to public policy development and implementation via sharing robust policy research outcomes and best policy practices across the world. It serves as a premier venue for researches in the area and contribute to the development practices within governance.

Administrative Science Quarterly

Administrative Science Quarterly, owned and managed by the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University, has been at the cutting edge of organizational studies since the field began. This top-tier journal regularly publishes the best theoretical and empirical papers based on dissertations and on the evolving and new work of more established scholars, as well as interdisciplinary work in organizational theory, and informative book reviews.
