UNECE Project on Evidence-based Environmental Governance and Sustainable Environmental Policies in support of the 2030 Agenda in South-East Europe (2018-2021)

The project 18/19 AE supports five countries of the South-East Europe in formulating actions on the basis of their Environmental Performance Reviews (EPRs) in order to achieve relevant SDGs. The project assists national stakeholders, in particular the ministries responsible for environmental issues, tp contribute to the revision of sector-specific and crosssectoral strategies aligning them with the SDGs.

UNECE Project on Improved Environmental Monitoring and Assessment in support of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda in South-Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus

The project 18/19 AA aims to strengthen the national capacities of seven target countries and to improve national capacities to produce, track and share environmental information and data. The project serves multiple policy purposes, including reporting under multilateral environmental agreements and, more importantly for this project, contribute towards monitoring of progress towards the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
