The IPAC annual conference is in Ottawa this September 13th – 15th at the Delta Hotel. Register here today IPAC Annual Conference | 75th Conference to access the virtual rate.

The Conference will focus on the essential role of public administration in a time of instability and social upheaval, and it will address key issues such as AI and Chat GPT. An Indigenous-led panel will discuss how public servants can collaborate more successfully with Indigenous organizations.

The Conference will have a panel of immigration leaders addressing the question of “Are we ready for 500,000 newcomers a year.” IPAC partnered with managers and executives to develop a session entitled “Leaning In & Leaning Out: Exploring the Courage to Lead and Bravely Set Boundaries.”

The United States Ambassador to Canada, David L. Cohen, is a featured keynote speaker. Ambassador Cohen will talk about Canada-US relations and current issues that confront both countries.

John F.G. Hannaford the new Clerk of the Privy Council and Secretary to the Cabinet is going to join us at the conference. He will be speaking on Friday at 12:00pm and is looking forward to taking questions from the audience.

The programme outlines the speakers and the topics that will cover over 15 sessions. The conference will address key issues such as:

  • Hybrid Work 
  • Employee Engagement 
  • Diversity & Inclusion 
  • Mental Health Leadership 
  • Energy Transition

This will be both an in-person and virtual event. This makes it possible for all to attend. Every registrant will receive a recording of all sessions following the Conference.

The conference will be a great opportunity to hear from senior leaders and learn about the key issues that they are facing in Canada and abroad.
