Dear UNPAN Partners,
We are pleased to inform that the version one of the newly redesigned United Nations Public Administration Network (UNPAN) website is now live at unpan.un.org. UNPAN is a global network that connects relevant international, regional, subregional and national institutions and experts worldwide working on effective governance and public administration for sustainable development in line with Goal 16 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The UNPAN was established in 1999 and it is the only network of its type in the world today. UNPAN is composed of 28 Members from across the world. UNPAN's mission is to promote the global sharing of knowledge, experiences and innovative practices on governance and public administration issues.
UNPAN is designed to help countries, particularly developing countries and countries in special situations, to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It facilitates capacity-development, including through training, and cooperation among UN Member States, with an emphasis on South-South cooperation.
We invite you to provide comments for UNPAN's version two which will include a dynamic platform by email to @email.
