With a desire to contribute to the development of public administration worldwide by sharing Korea’s experience in the development and innovation of public administration with the international community, the Korean government has published the Government Innovation Contents in Korea. This publication Showcases 34 administrative services delivered by central and local governments in Korea. In addition, the booklet shares the success factors of the good practices to provide substantive assistance to partner countries that wish to introduce or are already pursuing similar policies and services.

This Handbook, prepared by UN DESA/DPIDG, provides local and national governments with a set of conceptual approaches, practical strategies, and tools to improve the delivery of public services through citizen centric One-stop-Shops (OSS). It includes guidance on how to prepare an action plan to establish One-stop-Shops for public service delivery systems.

The 2020-2021 Report of Capacity Development Workshops and Pilot Testing of the Curriculum on Governance for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Toolkits was prepared by the UN DESA / DPIDG and UNPOG. The report contains key information about the 36 webinars conducted in 2020-2021 to pilot test the Curriculum's toolkits. The handbook is developed based on the Toolkit and is intended to be used by local and national governments in training and capacity development workshops related to Risk-informed Governance and Innovative Technology for Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience. The handbook aims to build national capacities to spearhead innovations and utilize Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) and key frontier technologies in government in order to drive DRR and resilience.

The  United Nations Public Service Awards is the most prestigious international recognition of excellence in public service. It rewards the creative achievements and contributions of public service institutions that lead to a more effective and responsive public administration in countries worldwide. Through an annual competition, the UN Public Service Awards promotes the role, professionalism and visibility of public service. 

The KIPA Public Policy Review, KIPA PPR, is a journal published by the Korea Institute of Public Administration, KIPA. The journal seeks to advance scholarly discourse in public administration and policy and addresses public policy practice by sharing robust policy research findings and best policy practices worldwide. The Vol.2, Issue 1 focuses on response to COVID-19 and post-pandemic recovery.

This report summarizes presentations and outcomes of a facilitated online training workshop on Innovation, Digital Government
and Public Service Delivery for Sustainable Development, which was jointly organized by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, through the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (UN DESA/DPIDG) and the SIDS Unit of the Division for Sustainable Development Goals (DSDG), in collaboration with the Caribbean Centre for Development Administration (CARICAD) and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), and with the participation of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (UN ECLAC), among others.

This year, the Forum will be held from 29 to 31 March 2021 as the region grapples with and tries to recover from a pandemic that has severely affected the lives and livelihoods of people from all social and economic backgrounds.

GEMS indicator aims to measure the maturity of government services provided through the portal and through mobile applications in the Arab region. It seeks to bridge the gap in most of the international indicators, related to service maturity, its use and user satisfaction. To this end, 84 government services have been identified, and it is necessary for each country to deliver them electronically for individuals and businesses. The principle of life cycle has been adopted in service selection; any individual needs these services at different stages of life, and each company requires them since its establishment to its close.

The summit was organized in the framework of the Berlin Process and the Multi-Annual Action Plan on Regional Economic Area (MAP-REA) for the Western Balkans and aimed at showcasing good practices in the Western Balkans, highlighting the achievements and outcomes of the Digital Agenda, and exploring possibilities of building partnerships with the private sector, in the context of the digital transformation process.
