Online Training Center
The United Nations Public Administration Network (UNPAN) Online Training Centre delivers courses and features training material on various topics in public administration. Its main objective is to increase learning opportunities for government officials and citizens from all over the world. UNPAN online training courses training material and are available to anyone with Internet access and are provided free of charge. The courses and training material are available in English, and other UN official languages.

DEVELOPING CAPACITIES TO TRANSFORM PUBLIC SERVANTS’ MINDSETS TO IMPLEMENT THE 2030 AGENDA FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Objective: Public servants are critical drivers of the implementation of Agenda 2030 and transforming mindsets is critical. Changing norms is not enough to transform institutions and improve service delivery. It is essential to change beliefs and values to promote attitudes and behaviors that are aligned with the principles of Agenda 2030.

Objective: The course seeks to strengthen country-level capacities for integrity and accountability with a specific focus on Least Developed Countries (LDCs). It builds on novel approaches to public integrity from behavioral sciences. It promotes ethical awareness for civil servants so to transform mindsets for ethical behavior and decision-making, enabling them to become change agents and lead on integrity transformations.

DiGIT4SD: Digital Government Implementation
Objective: DIGIT4SD is a toolkit designed to build and strengthen institutional capacity for planning, implementing and evaluating digital government initiatives in SDG implementation, through data-informed evidence-based approaches. It draws on project experience gained through the implementation of a UN DESA capacity development project. It also offers a spectrum of best practices of digital government initiatives globally by including case studies. The toolkit includes various modules that can help targeted countries to develop digital government initiatives in supporting selected SDGs or targets.

GOVERNMENT INNOVATION FOR SOCIAL INCLUSION OF VULNERABLE GROUPS
Objective: The course will examine how to leverage digital opportunities and address their risks so that technology responds to people’s actual needs. It will also address the challenges that face the digitalization of public services and how to take full advantage of the capabilities of ICTs, including Big Data and AI, for the design, implementation and monitoring of public services.


Objective: The course will examine the importance to build capacities to promote government innovation for social inclusion of vulnerable groups, with emphasis on public service delivery. It will also highlight the importance of social inclusion as a mechanism for alleviating poverty and reducing inequalities to accelerate the achievement of the SDGs.
GOVERNMENT INNOVATION FOR DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND RESILIENCE – LEVERAGING FRONTIER TECHNOLOGIES AND STRENGTHENING RISK-INFORMED GOVERNANCE
Objective: The course aims to enhance capacities of the SIDS, LDCs, and LLDCS in leveraging ICTs and digital government to address the specific vulnerabilities they face and assist such countries in building sustainable and resilient societies. It aims to introduce the advances experience in fostering transformation towards a sustainable and resilient society and ultimately how digital government can be an enabler for achieving the SDGs.

eGov4women Online Toolkit
Objective: The EGov4Women Toolkit is an innovative public resource related to the design and implementation of gender-responsive E-Government institutional ecosystems in the Asia-Pacific region. The toolkit represents the first region-wide toolbox to support the gender-mainstreaming of E-Government. Through a set of 5 comprehensive modules, it provides key pointers for policymakers on gender-responsive design of e-service delivery, e-participation and connectivity initiatives, and introduces a capabilities-based approach to outcome evaluation of E-Government for women’s empowerment.

eGovernment for Women Online Toolkit
Objective: The Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), in partnership with the United Nations Project Office on Governance (UNPOG) of the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government, United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, initiated the project on “e-Government for Women’s Empowerment” in 2014, to enhance: a) knowledge sharing and raise awareness of good practices; and b) skills and understanding of strategies and actions required to promote e-government for women’s empowerment

Strengthening stakeholder engagement for the implementation and review of the 2030 Agenda
Objective: Further to the adoption of the 2030 Agenda in September 2015, 4 rounds of reviews of its implementation took place at the global level in July 2016, July 2017, July 2018 and July 2019 in the context of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF). More than 100 countries have already presented their Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs) at HLPF. All UN Member States are expected to conduct regular and inclusive national reviews of progress on the SDGs and contribute to regional and global reviews. Such reviews should draw on national processes and include contributions from different stakeholders.
